Piedmont is another in-demand city among my clients. Piedmont is a city in Alameda County and is considered one of the best cities in California. Low crime rate, beautiful weather as well as high appraisal for real estate properties make it one of the most ideal places to live in. Piedmont is still a part of the San Francisco Bay area. It is completely surrounded by the city of Oakland but in terms of living conditions it is probably even better than Oakland. The city was designed for residential use where you can see a lot of neighborhoods rising in the past years. Although Piedmont has no public library or post office, residents of the area simply go to Oakland when they want to go to library or send a parchment through a federal post office.

With only about 10,000 residents as of 2010, Piedmont is not so crowded and can still accommodate guests who want to reside in the area. There are about 10,664 families living in the city with varied nationalities ranging from African Americans to Latinos. Because of the not so big population as well as the background of the people living in the area, Piedmont is a relatively safe city with less crime rate compared to other nearby cities in the San Francisco Bay area. Piedmont also has its own fire and police services to provide the emergency needs of the residents in the city.

Just like other cities in the bay area, another feature of the city which is appealing to my clients is the Mediterranean weather. This is characterized by a summer which is typically warm and dry as well as winter that is relatively wet and cool. Piedmont also is able to give quality education to its residents with various schools and educational institutions. The city has three elementary schools namely Beach, Wildwood and Havens. The city also has a middle school which is Piedmont Middle School as well as a high school and its alternative school. Piedmont is the primary high school in the area but high school student can choose to study in Millennium, an alternative high school.

Shopping in Piedmont is another great feature of the city. You can buy your essentials in the many retail outlets in the area. If you want to take your family to tours then you don’t have to go too far. You can visit the Memorial’s Building or opt to visit the different parks in the area such as Kenelly State Park and Witter Field.
